Meet "Baby Butterfly"!

With its magnificent design, this needlepainting embroidery makes good use of vibrant complementary colours to bring this butterfly to life. Don't be fooled by its apparent complexity : this design is for all levels, including beginners.

"Baby Butterfly" was taught in Austalia at the Beating around the Bush Convention in 2018. Here, you can see pictures of the work done by my students in two days during this class.

This adorable butterfly is part of the classes I will teach at the World Needleword Convention – London 2023 organised by https://www.needleworktours.com.au/convention/2023-world-needlework-convention In 2 days with me, you will learn : long and short stitch, traditional embroidery stitches, how to blend colours like a painter, ... Meet "Le Coquelicot"!

This beautiful poppy was designed to pay tribute to all the lives lost during WWII. Its wonderful colours symbolise the triumph of life and its neverending cycle is represented by the bud. A spring breeze gently shakes its petals and the delicate dandelions around it.

This design is for all levels, including beginners.

"Le Coquelicot" was taught in Normandy, near the D-Day beaches, for the "Très Joli" embroidery tour organised by  . Here, you can admire the work done by my students in my two-day class.https://www.needleworktours.com.au/tours/trs-jolis-french-embroidery-workshop-tour-2019
